on a practice studio and expand programs.
On December 12, Dennis Iwasaka of The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg
Foundation, Inc. escorted Anthony, Valerie and Preston Jones to Oahu to attend a
luncheon at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel to receive a $10,000 contribution in
celebration with the Foundation’s Annual “Sharing the Joys of the Holidays”
project. There were 17 other organizations present at the ceremony who were also
selected to receive $10,000 donations. Representatives of each organization were
presented a check by the Foundation member that selected them and then spoke
about what they do. Zenshin Daiko members thanked the Foundation and then
performed briefly for everyone at the luncheon. Zenshin Daiko is honored to receive this donation and will use it to pay for
improvements on a practice studio and expand it’s programs.
