Leslie solos on the odaiko while playing Kaminari at the beautiful Keokea Park on July 20. Zenshin Daiko performed at the funeral service for Mike Costello. In the past four Maui County Fair Parades, Mike volunteered to drive ZD on a 40 foot flatbed trailer . He really loved listening to the kids play taiko and his wife Julie wanted ZD to play for him once more.

ZD performs for the Upward Bound program at the War Memorial Gym on July 8. Participants of the program had a chance to listen to ZD perform and then enjoyed the hands-on demonstration.
