Zenshin Daiko performs for Lanai's Aloha Festivals Celebration.

ZD performs for the Royal Court on Lanai during the Aloha Festival’s Parade - Lanai Style in the morning on October 11.

Heather plays the odaiko while Chris plays on the shimedaiko during the Aloha Festival’s Lanai Hoolaulea in the evening on October 11.

Zenshin Daiko was honored to be invited to be a part of the Aloha Festivals Celebration on Lanai on October 11. ZD had participated in the event twice before and was happy to receive another invitation. Once again, ZD’s members enjoyed the warm hospitality of the people of Lanai. The closeness of that community and the fact that there are no fast food restaurants, traffic lights or Costco made the trip a unique and interesting experience.
