Zenshin Daiko is busy at 81st County Fair.

ZD performed at the Special Fair - an event held for the Senior Citizens and handicapped people of Maui County.

28 members of ZD performed in the Entertainment Tent as part of the Opening Ceremony and later again to open for the Karaoke Exhibition.

Zenshin Daiko is the #3 unit in the Maui County Fair Parade. ZD played continuously for over 40 minutes.

Zenshin Daiko is busy at 81st County Fair. Zenshin was very busy at the 81st Maui County Fair which opened on Thursday, October 2. ZD performed three times that evening and again the next day. Starting at 4:45 pm, ZD was the third unit in the Parade which started at MCC, went up Kaahumanu Avenue and then onto Kanaloa Avenue to the football stadium. Then ZD’s 42 people, 18 chudaiko, 5 okedo, 1 odaiko and 1 atarigane proceeded into the Fairground via the back gate to prepare to perform in the Fair’s Opening Ceremony at 7:00 pm in the Entertainment Tent. Then, members rushed out to get something to eat at the many food concessions before coming back to the Entertainment Tent to perform for the opening of the Karaoke Exhibition at 8:30 pm. There was little time to rest after performing three times on Thursday night because ZD returned to the Entertainment Tent the next morning to perform at the Special Fair - an event held for the Senior Citizens and handicapped people of Maui County who would not ordinarily attend the Fair.
